Dubai shuts down real estate broker's office for flouting Covid-19 rules

A real estate broker's office was closed for not adhering to coronavirus precautionary measures in Dubai. Apart from the real estate agency, Dubai Economy officials also issued fines to eight establishments and warned one other shop for non-compliance. Inspections showed that 681 businesses were following precautionary measures made mandatory by the government in tackling the spread of the coronavirus. Dubai Economy conducts daily inspection visits to penalize violators and has urged the public to cooperate and report any violation through the Dubai Consumer app.

Caribbean Galaxy CEO Ying Jin and CIU Unit CEO Les Khan Dubai: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU), Les Khan has become implicated in an alleged scam worth US $165 million from a prison construction project in St Kitts.   Caribbean Galaxy - a construction firm based in St Kitts and Nevis has a contract to construct a prison. The government has provided the company with 5,500 citizenship applications as compensation for completing the prison project with applicable government fees, reveals an agent based in Dubai. In a bid to acquire this contract, the CEO of Caribbean Galaxy, Ying Jin, CEO of CIU Les Khan had an obscured agreement that on the sale of each citizenship, Ying Jin would pay the US $10,000 to CEO Les Khan - which he will reportedly share the sum with Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis Timothy Harris, totalling over the US $55 million and her company (Caribbean Galaxy) will subsequently generate revenue of US $20,000 on sale of each citize

Les Khan- CEO of Citizenship by Investment Programme of St Kitts and Nevis reportedly stayed at Armani Hotel Dubai, Downtown for three nights during his official visit to Dubai in November 2021.
